We are always happy for people to get involved with the work of Neighbourhood Management in the South Ward area. We also want to know if you are involved in any groups within your local community that could benefit from our help with community engagement and funding etc.
Resident meetings
The Neighbourhood Management Team have set up many meetings specifically aimed at local residents from South Ward. The meetings give people an opportunity to meet staff from local service providers, raise local issues and concerns, find out about proposals and projects in their area and get to meet people from the same area.
The following meetings are currently taking place:
The Coronation
A popular coffee morning takes place once a month for residents of the Coronation. The coffee morning takes place in the communal room at Shakespeare Court on Avon Close (opposite the shops).
The Coronation Residents Association meet as part of the coffee morning, with updates from the police, their local councillor and local service providers. Any local issues can be raised and actions are recorded and brought back to the next meeting.
We get a good, regular, attendance but always have room for more people so come along to the next meeting and bring a friend! Tea, Coffee and cakes served with a smile!
