South Ward Community Bus
The bus has been purchased by the South Ward Neighbourhood Management Partnership, and is being managed by The For All Healthy Living Company, in response to feedback from local residents about the lack of transport in South Ward.
The bus is available to hire for groups and organisations that are based within South Ward (Bournville, Potteries, Oldmixon and Coronation).
The bus can seat up to 15 passengers, with 3 point seat belts, and is fully DDA compliant with a passenger lift for wheelchair access.
Tariffs
The bus is available for whole day and half day bookings.
Half day fees (up to 4 hours)
£25 (if your organisation provides a driver)
£50 (if a driver is required)
Full day bookings (over 4 hours)
£50 (if your organisation provides a driver)
£100 (if a driver is required)
Costs are inclusive up to 10 miles, then 40p per mile.
Early booking is advised - first come, first served
All drivers must be MiDAS trained and be able to show a current MiDAS certificate.
