Sara Brown – Neighbourhood Manager

Sara is the Neighbourhood Manager and is responsible for managing the Neighbourhood Management programme and the Neighbourhood Management Team.

The Neighbourhood Management team are working closely with local residents and service providers to improve the quality of life for people living on the 4 estates. The team are aiming to make a real and significant difference to the look and feel of the neighbourhood.

Victoria Rooke – Project Development Worker

Vicki joined the Neighbourhood Management Team on a permament basis in mid 2008 following a successful secondment from NS Housing and is based at the For All Healthy Living Centre.

Vicki’s role is to develop and manage the delivery of a range of capital and revenue projects which will run alongside and be an integral part of the neighbourhood management programme. Her role focuses on improving the physical environment across the Ward by increasing community engagement and involvement in how services are developed and provided.

Vicki hopes that Neighbourhood Management can achieve great things in the area with the support of other service providers and local people. Many of the ideas for the work programmes will make a big difference to the quality of life for residents and it is exciting to be a part of it and help to make it happen.

Michelle Harvey – Team Administrator

Michelle is the Administrator for the Team. She has a wide range of administrative skills gained from many years working in the NHS where her last role was as a Project Administrator working on rebuilding and improving Mental Health facilities in North Somerset as part of a multi-million pound PFI and Capital scheme.

Michelle’s role is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Neighbourhood Management team for the efficient and effective conduct of the administrative, financial, business and personnel affairs and to ensure the smooth running of the programme.

Michelle hopes that the team continues to work well with partner agencies and with local residents in delivering the agreed projects

Mary Morgan

Mary joined the team in July 2008 as a Project Development Worker. Previously Mary worked in South Ward for four years as the Community Learning and Development Coordinator, initially for SureStart and then South Weston Children's Centre.

Mary believes that the people and communities of this area deserve the best, and enjoys working in partnership with local people. Her work in Neighbourhood Management focuses on community engagement and community development, and she strongly believes in the values and principles of this way of working.

Local people are the experts at being local and have first hand experience of the needs and problems in the community. With good information and support this community will get stronger and have more influence, and the community links we build will be a lasting legacy.
